Meditation has the potential to reverse patterns in the brain that contribute to worrying, mind-wandering, and poor attention. Chose a length of time you are comfortable with (maybe 1 to 5 minutes) and increase that gradually. You will be proud of yourself. Most meditation sessions are less than 30 minutes. So no need to work up to more than that unless you choose to. You will get the same benefits as in 10 to 25 minute sessions.
